Encaustic Art Therapy

31 March, 2016

On Tuesday Art Therapist, Jane, came along to the hospice to introduce our patients to Encaustic wax art. The patients under Jane’s supervision created cards of landscapes and abstract art using beeswax and irons!

Two of our patients gave us some feedback on the activity. Helen said that she found creating the cards very fulfilling and loved being creative. Christine agreed and added that she was delighted at being able to achieve some beautiful artwork on her own.
