Wish Fulfilled!

10 August, 2016

We would like to say a massive thank you to Margaret Tollan who kindly donated two books from our Amazon Wish List to help us support children who may have been bereaved!

At Kilbryde Hospice we also offer counselling services.

There are times in our lives when it’s helpful to talk to someone about what’s on our minds or what’s troubling us. Sometimes you want someone who really understands where you’re coming from and not just a friend with a sympathetic ear.

The counselling service here at Kilbryde Hospice offers both individual and group therapy for patients, their family and carers who are living in South Lanarkshire. We also provide a bereavement service for those affected by grief and loss. Our counselling service provides a space where people can explore their feelings and express their thoughts and emotions about what’s going on in a safe, supportive and confidential environment.

Our aim is to further develop our services in order to better support children and teenagers who are affected by illness and bereavement. Receiving donations plays a huge part in the maintenance and development of our services and more specifically, our wish list is a valuable way of gifting the specific tools and equipment that we need.
