Our Story So Far
The Kilbryde Hospice Appeal was established in 2001 by Tony McGuinness and Dr John Richards to help tackle the lack of in-patient palliative care beds within South Lanarkshire.

Kilbryde Hospice is a voluntary independent hospice which exists to provide compassionate, specialist palliative care to people with life limiting progressive illnesses and to their relatives and carers.

Kilbryde Hospice Governance is an internal framework through which our organisation is accountable for continuously improving the quality of our services and safeguarding high standards.

Financial control is governed by our Board of Directors, Finance Governance Group, our auditors and accountants.
Catchment Area
Kilbryde Hospice provides palliative care and support to patients and families of patients with life limiting illnesses. We currently provide Day Services, CLan (formerly Care at Home), Wellbeing Services and our In-Patient Unit for people living in South Lanarkshire.
