South Lanarkshire housebuilder Barratt Homes has made a donation of £500 to Kilbryde Hospice to support the invaluable work of the organisation in the local community.
The firm pledged £100 to the local hospice for every reservation made at its Lockhart Gardens development in Stonehouse between its launch in autumn and the end of 2014.
The initiative was part of the housebuilder’s Pride of Place campaign – a commitment to supporting and developing local communities – and builds on previous support for the hospice as it prepares to launch services in and around South Lanarkshire.
Steve Mariner, sales and marketing director for Barratt Homes West Scotland, said: “Our initiative to support Kilbryde Hospice has proved really popular at Lockhart Gardens and it’s great to be able to support the community in this way. Each home at Lockhart Gardens has been designed to provide the comfort, lifestyle and quality expected by today’s buyer and, already in 2015, significant levels of interest have been noted.
Nicola Gunn at Kilbryde Hospice said: “It is fantastic news that Barratt Homes is supporting the hospice with such a generous donation, which will help us to continue providing essential and invaluable support to communities across South Lanarkshire”
Lockhart Gardens features a range of three and four bedroom detached and semi-detached homes, with prices starting from £134,000. For more information visit www.barratthomes.co.uk or call 07833 293287.
