Kilbryde Hospice Care@Home is a nurse-led service provided at home for any individual with a life-limiting illness who is unable to attend the hospice. The aim of the Care@Home project is to provide emotional and psychological support to people and their families affected by a life limiting illness. This allows people to be supported while remaining in their own home. Kilbryde Hospice alongwith our health & social care colleagues work in partnership across South Lanarkshire area to deliver this service.

Patient & Carer Comments
”I was introduced to Kilbryde Hospice Care@Home Complementary Therapy by my wife. Now, I was slightly cynical that it would be helpful but I thought I would give it a go. Each therapy session helped me to sleep and helped me to get through the day. It really was phenomenal”
“The nurse telephone calls, the listening all helped reduce anxiety and unresolved bereavement stress. The therapies were able to help me manage my anxiety better and made me feel important like a carer matters”
“I think I benefited more from the reiki and definitely felt more relaxed and at ease after it than I had been for some time”.
