Carers' Service

When someone in your family has a serious illness you may not think of yourself as a carer, but the support you provide is vital. Providing this care can have a major impact on you and it takes time to adjust and find ways of managing. Kilbryde Hospice can support you to do this considering all your needs as a carer.

Carers' Champions

We have a team of volunteer Carer Champions who are committed to supporting carers and relatives at Kilbryde Hospice. They ensure that carers are prioritised in every area of the organisation and act as a point of contact.

Support After Death

Though grieving is a natural response to the death of someone close it can be very distressing and some people need additional support to get through this difficult time. Often carers and relatives do not know where to go for support and advice after their relative has died. Kilbryde Hospice is here to provide you with support, comfort and advice at every stage of the person's illness and after their death.
