Hello March!

Hello MArch

We can’t quite believe that it’s March already! Seriously? It feels it we’re all just back from the Christmas Holidays. Though given the weather today you would be forgiven for thinking that it’s the middle of December!

If the weather is getting you down then don’t worry we have a range of events throughout the month of March to get you in the mood for spring!

Saturday 12th March – The Kilbryde Hospice team will be at the Marks & Spencer’s store in the Shopping Centre in East Kilbride helping to pack your bags from 10am until 4pm. We are still looking for some volunteers to help out on the day, if you feel you could give even a couple hours of your time to help your local hospice then contact Karlyn on

Sunday 13th March – Do fancy climbing Lanarkshire’s most famous hill? The Hill of Fire! Eh, sorry we mean Tinto Hill.  Tinto Hill is located in Thankerton in Lanarkshire. We will be climbing Tinto Hill to raise vitals funds for the hospice but also to take in the beautiful view. You can register today for only £10 which includes a Kilbryde Hospice t-shirt, goody bag and sponsor forms. For more information or to register please contact our Community & Events Fundraiser Chloe Martin on 01355 202020 or email

Monday 14th March – After the success of our first coffee morning in February where we raised over £400 we will be holding our Easter themed Coffee Morning on Monday 14th March from 11am until 1pm. Join us for delicious home-baking and refreshments. It costs nothing to come along to, just a donation and everyone is welcome.
