Our Retail Shops

Our shops generate vital income to support the provision of our care services through the sale of new and second-hand goods. 

We also offer a free collection service for goods, as well as delivery of purchased goods for a small fee. To arrange collection contact our retail team on 01355 274850.

There are certain items we cannot sell. We appreciate all donations however are unable to collect items we cannot sell as this detract from our fundraising.

Furniture and Housewares

• Upholstered furniture without a fire label including items without labels that are part of donated sets.
• Upholstered furniture with large tears or damage.
• Furniture with missing parts or damage that may make the item unsafe.
• Veneered wood furniture with damage to the veneer exposing the inner wood.
• Candles without instructions.

Electrical Items

• Electric Blankets.
• Electric Showers.
• Sunbeds and tanning equipment.
• Waste disposal units.
• Power tools without instructions.

Heating and Cooking

• Gas appliances (mains or bottled)
• Gas cookers.
• Ovens with glass fronts/doors.
• Oil-filled radiators (not supplied with a thermostat).
• Oil heaters (mobile).
• Storage heaters hardwired.
• Oil and gas AGAS.

Children’s Equipment

• Children’s car seats.
• Highchairs.
• Cots, carry cots, playpens.
• Toys without a CE mark.

Sports and Safety Equipment

• Buoyancy aids, lifejackets, inflatable dinghies.
• Safety helmets, riding hats, crash helmets.
• Cycle helmets.
• Safety hardnesses of any sort.
• Fire fighting equipment.

Software and Hardware

• Home-recorded DVDs, video and audio tapes.
• Home-recorded computer games and software on recordable CDs and DVDs.
• Weapons.
• Knives.
• Swords, sword stocks, crossbows.
• Guns and ammunition (including replica guns excluding toy guns).

Miscellaneous

• Personal appliances such a shavers, foot spas etc (unless unused and in with original sealed box).
• Duvets and pillows that have been used.
• Medication including vitamins.
• Perishable goods, food and drink.
• Prescription spectacles.
• Cleaning agents, solvents and adhesives.
• Ivory.
• Petrol or diesel fuelled garden tools such as lawn mowers.

Our Flagship Store is located in East Kilbride Shopping Centre. The shop is located in the unit that used to house Zara and sells furniture, clothing, books, games, amongst other things.

Collections & Deliveries

To operate our shops we rely on stock donated by the public. We offer a FREE collection service of approved goods as well as providing customers with the option of delivery of purchased goods, for a small fee.

Our vans and transport team also deliver fresh stock to all stores on a regular basis, ensuring the optimum shopping experience for all customers in all locations.
