We are looking for people who are caring, friendly, and enjoy working as part of a team. It is important that volunteers are able to make a realistic time commitment and are enthusiastic, reliable and above all, have commitment to the ethos of Kilbryde Hospice.
We will meet with you to match your skills, experience and areas of interest with our available opportunities. It is imperative to us that we recruit the right people into the right roles, not just for the patients and service users of Kilbryde Hospice but to ensure volunteers get enjoyment out of their experience. For many of the positions, previous experience is not necessary and training will be given for all roles including practical on the job training, or specialist training when required. All successful applicants will go through a core organisational induction and a separate role specific induction. You will be supported by a named member of staff within the specific service area you are volunteering and also be able to approach our Volunteer Development Officer when required.
