Spiritual care is an important aspect of the care offered in Kilbryde Hospice. You will meet a variety of staff and volunteers who are sensitive to your spiritual needs. At times of crisis in people’s lives, such as a serious illness or bereavement, sometimes people question life-long beliefs or wonder about the meaning of life. Our Spiritual care team are available to support patients, carers, relatives, volunteers and staff whether or not you hold religious beliefs. Kilbryde Hospice Chaplaincy team are lay people offering spiritual support. They are available to preside at Communion with patients, carers and family members on request. People wishing to receive Communion from a specific faith community can request this through the Chaplaincy team.
