Search Kilbryde Hospice

The choir was originally formed in October 2015 as a British Lung Foundation “Singing for Lung Health” pilot.  Following its success, the Kilbryde Community Choir is now open to everyone and anyone – no experience is needed and you don’t need to read music.  Following a comprehensive warm-up (including useful & simple breathing techniques) the choir sings a selection of pop, world and folk songs.

The aims of the choir are to encourage and develop changes in breathing, confidence and general health and to develop vocal and breathing techniques. It is also a great way to meet new people, socialise and enjoy yourself!

The choir is directed by our music therapist and “Singing for Lung Health” trained singing leader, Anna Ludwig.
