Updated Scottish Government Guideline

From 16/5/23, following new Scottish Government guidance, we are delighted to announce, that Hospice visitors and all clinical and nursing staff within the Hospice building and out in the community in people’s homes, do not need to wear a facemask.

There will be some occasions when we will require you to wear face masks or ask you when you visit the hospice to wear a face mask, but this will be based on clinical need and current infection prevention control guidance. This means visitors will not be routinely asked to wear facemasks in the Hospice, although they can still do so if they want.

If you are suffering from any respiratory symptoms or diarrhoea and vomiting, please consider your reason for visiting. If you have any questions, please call 01355 202020 Option 3 for advice.
