Why Your Support Means So Much…

“There are no pills that could make me feel as good as the laughter I’ve had in Day Services today. These girls are not only nurses, they are friends.”

These were the kind words said by one of our patients this week, highlighting the importance of the work that our care team here at Kilbryde Hospice do for people with life limiting illnesses.

The hospice offers a range of support through our day services, from classes, complementary therapies and expert advice to our patients and their families and carers.

For charities like Kilbryde Hospice, having a regular income can make such a difference when it comes to planning future projects and maintaining momentum for on-going work.

Your donations are hugely important to Kilbryde Hospice, and one of the most cost-effective and straightforward ways that you can support the work we do is through a monthly, quarterly or annual gift by Direct Debit.

Donating to Kilbryde Hospice by Direct Debit means:-

  • You stay in control at all times
  • You are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee, and
  • You can choose exactly how much and when you want to donate.

Your regular donation can make a real difference. When Kilbryde Hospice is fully operational it will cost in excess of £2.5 million per year to run.

Your donation will support vital Kilbryde Hospice services that care for the people of Lanarkshire in some of their most difficult times. If you can, please consider giving a monthly gift. Look what your donation could pay for;

£3 a month pays for the cost of a complementary therapy session which could help relieve symptoms including pain, nausea or anxiety of life limiting illnesses

£5 a month pays for a counselling session for a patient, their carer or family member, to help them cope better with their illness

£10 a month pays for the hospice transport vehicle for a week, providing access to hospice services and activities for patients and their carers

You can sign up for a monthly direct debit online safely and securely via our website by clicking here.
