Volunteers are at the heart of Kilbryde Hospice, providing vital support to our community, patients, service users and their families.
Join a passionate team making a real difference in our community. With a wide range of roles, from fundraising and retail to specialist support in areas like Finance, IT, and Community Services, there’s something for everyone.
Whatever your skills or experience, there’s a place for you with us.
• Joe’s Bistro – Monday to Sunday, various hours.
• Retail Assistants – East Kilbride, Hamilton, Rutherglen, Monday to Saturday, various hours.
• Collecting donation cans from businesses throughout South Lanarkshire, flexible hours.
• To wear our Mascot outfit, Hope the Squirrel, during school hours.

How do I apply?
Easy, complete an application online on this page or come in to pick up a paper form. You must provide two references who have known you for at least 2 years. We aim to process applications within 4 weeks.
Is there a time commitment?
No fixed commitment. Some roles (Retail, Café, Reception) ask for around 3 hours weekly; others are more flexible.
What’s the minimum age?
Volunteers can be 14+. Under-16s must be accompanied by a guardian at all times. Patient-facing roles require volunteers to be 18+.
