Quiz Night success at St Leonard’s Church!

3 April, 2017

We had a very warm welcome for our quiz at St Leonard’s Church on Friday night – the hall was full to bursting point with no room for the quiz master to sit down!

The quiz master, Father Frank King, had everyone’s brain buzzing, asking questions on a variety of topics. Who knew the colour of the jacket of the greyhound in Trap One? Not many!

We had 4 fabulous Caritas students from St Andrew’s and St Bride’s High School – Stephanie English, Laura McLarnon, John Cooney and Louise Marshall – who helped selling raffle tickets, accepting admission fees and selling Easter chicks. We raised a fantastic total of £678.66!

The winners (including some of our own Drop In volunteers) with a score of 57 points were ‘Noah’s Ark’ – well done to them!

We look forward to the next quiz on Friday 2nd June at St March’s Episcopal Church Hall in East Kilbride.
