Quiz Night success at St Mark’s

5 June, 2017
What a fantastic night at our latest Quiz Night at St Mark’s Episcopal Church, East Kilbride!
Our quiz master Nigel – a front of knowledge – baffled us with questions from a variety of topics. Who actually knew when the kilt was banned?! The answer is 1782.
The quiz was won by 2 points by the Gillespies (pictured with their winners’ bottles) and the fabulous amount raised on the night was £550. We had about 80 people in attendance which we were delighted about!
Thank you to all who attended, donated prizes and took part. A special thanks to the St Mark’s tem – Paul, Nigel, Rose, Esther, Sheenagh and Jill.
We were also given a cheque for £181 by St Mark’s from their recent coffee morning held in aid of the hospice – we are so grateful to St Mark’s for their generosity!
