A message from our Clinical Services Manager

1 March, 2018

In view of the adverse weather conditions we have taken the decision to cancel all Day Services and out-patients appointments on 1/3/18 and 2/3/18. Our Drop In will remain open today until 1300 and resume tomorrow ( 2/3/18) at 1000 as usual. All appointments have been rescheduled and patients due to have Kilbryde transport should have been contacted by now. Our Care @ Home Specialist nurse will continue with her home visits tomorrow as planned. We urge all hospice based volunteers not to attempt to come into the hospice today and only attempt to come tomorrow if you feel it is safe to do so. Patients, relatives and family members if you have a medical concern please contact your GP or call NHS24 on 111. Kilbryde Kafe plans to reopen tomorrow. We apologise to all who are affected.

Our Hospice shops will remain closed today and we will await further instruction from East Kilbride and Hamilton town centres as the opening hours for the following days. Retail volunteers please check with shops/warehouse for opening hours.

Thank you for your cooperation
Margaret Mary Cowan
Clinical Services Manager
