£3000 raised at EK Arts Exhibition – plus a beautiful painting

19 December, 2017

Following this year’s East Kilbride Community Arts Exhibition at East Kilbride Old Parish Church, we were delighted to be invited along to the church last week to accept the amazing donation of £3000, which was raised over the course of the weekend.

We are so grateful for everybody who contributed to this year’s event – from the organisers, to the artists, to everybody who attended the exhibition and the evening events.
Event organiser Isobel McKinnon created the beautiful piece of art ‘Hope and Peace’ which features the East Kilbride Old Parish Church tower and the Kilbryde Hospice dove, and served as the theme for the event. We were over the moon this week when Isobel visited the hospice to donate the painting to us – it will now be hung proudly within our hospice building.
