Burns Day – a trip down memory lane for some Kilbryde Hospice patients

15 March, 2017

Back in January, some of our day services patients made some Burns and tartan themed crafts using printed tartan paper and toilet roll tubes, buttons and coloured paper!

This activity was designed to both celebrate Burns Day, and also to promote social interaction, increase manual dexterity & hand/eye co-ordination, and to give our patients a sense of achievement at creating something brilliant!

One of our patients Alex Cowan commented “Mine reminds me of a tartan I wore to a ceilidh as a young man”.
