Could you lead a local PSPA group in East Kilbride?

A message from PSPA…

Could you lead new local PSPA group based in East Kilbride?

We have the venue and the people, and are now looking for someone to offer a friendly welcome for people affected by PSP or CBD, including family and friends, to meet up on a regular basis to share experiences, information and just chat. We will be inviting people from a 30 mile radius of East Kilbride and covering West Central Scotland.
As one of our local group volunteers you will be helping to make an enormous difference to the lives of people affected by PSP or CBD.

What’s involved?
•Organising refreshments
•If needed, arranging for speaker to attend meetings
•Organising and sending out invitations (after an initial period)
•Acting as host, welcoming members and encouraging conversation
•Planning and coordinating group activities
•Encouraging the recruitment of new volunteers
•Ensuring the group works closely with the PSP Association head office

“From my own experiences I knew that a kind word, sharing with like-minded people and support on a regular basis would have made a real difference to me. And that is what I wanted to give to others”
– Lesley, Gloucestershire Group Coordinator

If you can organise regular meetings along with some simple admin, and meet and greet people, you could be a PSPA group coordinator! To find out more, please contact Wendy or Nicola on 01327 356134, or email wendy.crofts@pspassociation.org.uk
We would love to hear from you.
