30 July, 2019

Last week, we were delighted to visit Day-Today in Greenhills, East Kilbride for a cheque presentation as their collection cans have now raised over £3000 for Kilbryde Hospice!

Shoppers at Day-Today manage to fill there Kilbryde Hospice collection cans every week by donating their spare change after paying for their shopping and have raised £3153.25 since April 2016 – what a fantastic amount!

Karlyn Robertson, Assistant Fundraising Manager and William Fleming, Day-Today Assistant Manager outside the shop with a cheque for an amazing £3153.25.
We spoke to William Fleming, Day-Today Assistant Manager, he said, “It’s always nice to help out”.

We are so grateful to the customers and staff at Day-Today Greenhills. THANK YOU!

Do you know someone who could take a Kilbryde Hospice collection can and help raise this much money? It really does show that pennies turn in to pounds!

If you can help, we would love to hear from you! Get in touch with our fundraising team on 01355 202020 or fundraising@kilbrydehospice.org.uk and we will drop off a collection can to you. If you would like to collect your spare change at home, we have home money boxes which are the perfect size to sit on your kitchen counter or your desk.
