It’s nearly time for Stefano to ‘step up’ for Kilbryde!

29 May, 2019

With under a week to go until our magnificent supporter, Stefano Kelly, takes part in ‘Step Up For Charity’ and support Kilbryde Hospice!

Stefano has sent us an update on how his training is going, “we are dancing the Samba! It’s fast moving and hopefully going to be a crowd pleaser. There is a lot of steps to remember. We have the routine complete and are now at the stage of tidying up the dance, increasing the speed and working more on poise and definition in hold.

If you don’t know about Step Up for Charity, it is a Glasgow based charity event where 9 amateur dancers are paired with 9 amazing professionals who are ready to take to the dancefloor and raise money and awareness for their chosen charity.
Stefano is taking part in memory of his mother, Patricia. Patricia was cared for in Hairmyres Hospital, before sadly losing her life to pneumonia in June 2017. “My mother received the most amazing care from Hairmyres Hospital and I really want to give back and help raise vital funds for Kilbryde Hospice”. Patricia was a tough lady who fought and won a cancer battle three times!
