Joe braves the shave for Kilbryde Hospice!

11 January, 2018

A huge thanks to local supporter Joe McDowall, who recently bravely shaved off his moustache in order to raise funds for Kilbryde Hospice!

Joe took on the challenge over the festive period, with support and donations from his friends at the East Kilbride British Legion encouraging him along the way. Although nervous, Joe managed to raise an amazing £580 from his challenge! Thank you so much to Joe and to everybody who sponsored him.
We caught up with Joe at the East Kilbride British Legion, where he told us that he had had his moustache since 1962(!) and he fully intends to grow it back.
