Kilbryde Community Choir on Scala Radio

23 January, 2020

Our Kilbryde Community Choir were delighted to have a feature on Scala Radio back in November 2019 as part of their Community Choir feature.

You can listen to Angellica’s 3 hour show here but if you would just like to hear the Kilbryde Hospice segment then tune in at 1hour 28 minutes. https://planetradio.co.uk/scala-radio/player/85050710/

Clinical Services Manager, Margaret Mary Cowan, spoke to host Angellica Bell on the wonderful work that our Music Therapist, Anna Ludwig, her volunteers and all choir participants do.

This choir is run for patients, carers, family members and those who have been bereaved, supported by some members of local choirs. We especially encourage people with breathing difficulties to attend as we are aware of the benefits singing has on helping breathlessness. The choir has a positive impact on the staff and volunteers who are in the hospice building on a Wednesday.

We would like to thank everyone who makes our choir so special.
