Kilbryde Hospice Announcement

5 August, 2016

As some of you may be aware we had an incident this morning in which our patient transport bus caught fire due to a technical fault. Thankfully no one was in the vehicle at the time. Due to the fire our mini bus will be off the road until future notice, however we still have our mini van which can we can use to offer transport patients to the hospice when they need it. We would like to say a massive and heartfelt thanks to the Clarkston Community Fire Station team who responded so quickly to put the fire out and to all of our staff and volunteers who alerted the emergency services and controlled the situation professionally until their arrival.

A couple of the Firefighters even made our patients Friday when they popped in to say hello and assure them that everything was well!

If you require transport to the hospice for future appointments please be assured that we will try where possible to ensure that there is no disruption to our service. If you have any questions about patient transport please feel free to contact us on 01355 202020.
