Rhys, Annie & Phoebe

19 August, 2020

Hospice superstars Annie, Rhys and Phoebe have now completed their challenge of each running 150km over 6 weeks in aid of Kilbryde Hospice! The trio had aimed to raise £150 each for Kilbryde, and to date have raised a staggering £6,405!! We are absolutely overwhelmed with this donation from three of our youngest supporters – how amazing!

“My favourite part was running on holiday in North Berwick in the sunshine! But also loved running in the rain and mud in Calderglen Country Park.”

We are truly so grateful to all our supporters when they choose to take on a challenge to raise funds for Kilbryde, but its amazing to know that children within the community are learning about our hospice and what we do, and then want to support us and help us continue to care for our patients and their families.

“I used to run past the hospice and some people came to our church and told us all about the work that goes on there.”

We would also like to say thank you to everyone who supported Annie, Rhys and Phoebe in this challenge and for donating so generously, and a special thank you to Tooltime UK who when the trio reached £3,000 they matched this making the total £6,000! This was such a kind and thoughtful gesture and is very much appreciated by everyone here at Kilbryde – THANK YOU!

“Keeping fit with my friends and raising money for Kilbryde was fun!”

If this has inspired you to take on a challenge in aid of Kilbryde get in touch with our fundraising team on 01355 202020 or email fundraising@kilbrydehospice.org.uk – we would love to hear from you!
