47,000 steps – 37.47km – 23.3 miles – what an amazing challenge Team Frank took on. The team arrived at the 72nd hole at 10.15pm on Saturday evening, after spending the day fighting the elements at Strathclyde Park Golf Centre, with friends and family paying visits throughout the day to help boost the team spirit. Thank you so much to everybody who has so far contributed and sponsored Team Frank – we have been advised that in addition to the double rainbow in the sky towards the end of the 4th round, the constant ‘jingle’ from Just Giving donations throughout the day provided much-needed encouragement to continue the challenge!
As we mentioned previously, Team Frank is formed of friends and family of one of our wonderful patients, Frank, and we are so grateful that they have chosen to support us in this way – thank you so much.
