Visiting
Visiting at Kilbryde Hospice is permitted with some restrictions to protect our patients, volunteers and staff. This is to ensure people receive the care they need. Hospice senior nursing and medical staff are guided by NHS Lanarkshire Public Health team and may have to adjust visiting at short notice. Kilbryde Hospice staff will risk assess each individual patient and their situation and adjust visiting arrangements when required.
Day Services Update
Following Scottish Government guidelines, due to COVID-19, our Day Service was suspended in their usual format in March 2020. We have continued to support the patients and families in our care by phone/video link over the last few months. June 2020 has seen the implementation of our Virtual Day Service. We are undertaking this via Zoom.
CLAN Update
Due to the current restrictions under the COVID-19 pandemic, CLan staff are not making community visits to homes, click below to find out more about the services we are continuing to provide.
Spiritual Care Update
The Chaplains and Spiritual Care Volunteers are here to support patients, carers and families, as well as staff and volunteers.
In these unprecedented times we find ourselves in, many of us are asking deep and meaningful questions, and the Spiritual Care Team are here to support you explore these uncharted waters.
We have a Sanctuary, which everyone is free to use. Some folks like to spend time there to pray but for others it’s an oasis of calm at a difficult time in their life.
For those wishing to receive Holy Communion or a Sacrament of their own faith community, we will be happy to make these arrangements for you.
We are a non-judgemental, supportive listening service for everyone, and are available to all on request.
