Race Night Success for Alan and Margaret Mary Cowan!

A huge well done to Alan and Margaret Mary Cowan (and their fab family team), who organised a race night for Kilbryde Hospice on Saturday!

The night was an overwhelming success, raising over £2400 towards their Camino de Santiago Trek for the hospice!

Margaret Mary Cowan said: “We are very grateful to all who bought horses, sponsored races and attended on the night, pledging money by the bucketful.”

Races were won by Big Hearted Arthur, Thumbatrina and Sludge Monkey among others. We should have had a prize for best horse name! Our auction race was won by Maggie May who kindly donated their winnings back to Kilbryde Hospice. The event was run by Sporty Race Nights and the MC David ensured the night went off without a hitch. Here’s to the next event!
