As a specialist palliative care unit, Kilbryde Hospice offers an education service to health and social care professionals and students, in all healthcare settings.
Kilbryde Hospice works with University of West of Scotland, Glasgow Caledonian University, University of Glasgow and the Open University supporting students within all our clinical services. All academic placements are arranged via universities. Our in-house education and training programme is central to the development of our staff and volunteers and is the key to our success. Our commitment to lifelong learning extends to non-clinical staff and volunteers who receive specific training as well as personal development in areas such as communication skills.
