Thank you so much to our long term supporters at Eddlewood Bowling Club who have raised nearly £5,000 for Kilbryde Hospice at this year’s International Bowling Day!

Eddlewood Bowling Club hold an annual international bowling tournament in memory of Peter Conway, one of the founding members of the club, and whose son is the current club Treasurer.

This year’s event took place on Saturday 13th August and saw lots of international bowlers take part, including professional bowler Alex Marshall. Kilbryde Hospice volunteer ambassador and Eddlewood member, Alex Watson, played a part in organising the day, and director Joe Lowe and hospice supporter James Mortimer were also in attendance.

Competitors played for £1,000 prize money, however Kilbryde Hospice really was the real winner as the bowlers managed to raise a phenomenal £4,740!

Thank you so much to everybody at Eddlewood Bowling Club!
