Kilbryde Hospice: Recruiting for Compassionate Leadership

14 April, 2025

As Kilbryde Hospice looks to the future, we are seeking new Trustees to join our Board and help shape the next chapter of our story.

Rooted in the heart of South Lanarkshire, Kilbryde Hospice is committed to delivering person-centred, compassionate care to people living with life-limiting illnesses. Our services extend far beyond our 12-bed in-patient unit. From community wellbeing to social prescribing and bereavement support, we continue to adapt and innovate to meet the growing and changing needs of our population.

In this spirit of growth and renewal, we are currently recruiting Trustees with expertise in:

  • Legal Services
  • Nursing / Health and Care Governance

We also welcome expressions of interest from those with knowledge in:

  • CRM systems and digital engagement

We’re looking for people who not only bring professional skills but who align with our values: welcoming, honesty, respect, responsibility, and a deep compassion for the people we serve.

Whether you’ve served on boards before or are considering your first Trustee role, you’ll be supported as part of a welcoming and experienced team. Trustees at Kilbryde contribute to strategic oversight, risk management, sub-committee governance, and shaping the long-term direction of the hospice.

If you have the skills, time, and heart to help us make a difference, please get in touch. We are keen to hear from anyone who is interested in representing Kilbryde Hospice as a Trustee. If you would like an informal chat, please contact Fiona McKee, Chair of our People Governance Committee, on 07500 071915.
