Stephanie and Lianne raise £3,190 at fundraising night

25 November, 2016

We would like to express our thanks to our lovely supporters Stephanie Ashbridge and Lianne Seymour, who held a fundraising night at the Columba Club in Blantyre a few weeks ago and managed to raise a phenomenal £3,190 for Kilbryde Hospice.

The evening consisted of a raffle and auction, some fabulous entertainment from Leona Corio and Robert McIntosh, and of course plenty of dancing from all those who attended! Stephanie and Lianne said:

“Our dad Brian Ashbridge, had originally started planning this charity night for Kilbryde Hospice but sadly passed away in April. We didn’t want to let the charity down so decided to go ahead with the show in his memory. We didn’t imagine we would have raised as much money as we did and want to give a special thanks to everyone who came along and bought tickets, raffles and bid for the auction prizes. We approached lots of different companies and football clubs and would like to thank them for their generosity for the prizes donated. “

Thank you so much to Stephanie and Lianne for taking on the task of planning the evening in memory of your Dad, and to the benefit of Kilbryde Hospice. We would also like to thank everybody who contributed to the evening – it sounds like everyone had a wonderful night!
