Whyte and Barrie Chartered Surveyors raise £3500 for Kilbryde Hospice

22 November, 2017

Whyte & Barrie Chartered Surveyors celebrated their 70th anniversary on Friday 10th November when over 200 guests joined them for an entertaining evening at the Alona Hotel, an event which helped raise £3500 for Kilbryde Hospice!

Whyte & Barrie Director, Alan Crooks, who manages their East Kilbride office, said, “To mark our 70th Anniversary year, we decided to take the opportunity of raising money for a local charity and had no hesitation in choosing Kilbryde Hospice. The firm was founded in 1947 the same year East Kilbride was designated Scotland’s first new town, so it seems fitting we have supported the Hospice since its inception and are delighted to have played a small part in helping bring this amazing vision to reality. The people of South Lanarkshire deserve to have palliative care available locally”

Kilbryde Hospice Fundraising Manager Lesley Wiggins said: “We are so grateful for all of the fundraising Whyte and Barrie have done for Kilbryde Hospice, and blown away by the amount raised from their anniversary event. Thank you to Whyte and Barrie for all of their support!”

Kilbryde Hospice provides care and support to people in Lanarkshire with life limiting illnesses, and extends this support to their carers and loved ones too. For further information, please contact Kilbryde Hospice on 01355 202020 or info@kilbrydehospice.org.uk.
