Our chaplains can help explore the patient’s spiritual needs, and identify when someone might need more support.
The Chaplains and Spiritual Care Volunteers are here to support patients, carers, families, and friends, as well as staff and volunteers. We are here for people of all faiths and of no faith.
Often, when a life-limiting illness is diagnosed people can find themselves in the most challenging of times. Many people seek the answers to deep and meaningful questions, and the Spiritual Care Team are here to support you explore these concerns.Â

We have a Sanctuary on our first floor, which is available to all to use. Some people like to spend time there to pray. For others it’s an oasis of calm to spend some time in, with a quiet cuppa. This can be a welcome break at a very difficult time in your life.
Staff and volunteers are welcome to use this space too.Â
For those wishing to receive Holy Communion or receive a Sacrament from their own faith community, we will be happy to make these arrangements for you. Please let the nurse in charge of your care know.Â
