Spiritual Care

Our Chaplain and a team of spiritual care volunteers are here to help and support patients, families, carers, staff and volunteers in any way we can. We offer support to all faiths and none.

Stress and Anxiety

What is stressful to one person is not necessarily stressful to another. However, when stressed, the balance in our bodies is disturbed. This leaflet will  explain some of the symptoms and how you can help yourself to manage them. 

Rehabilitation Team

This leaflet explains the role and aims of the Rehabilitation Team within our In-Patient Unit.

Preventing Falls at the Hospice

Patients can be more susceptible  to falls as they become more unwell. There are many reasons why people fall. This leaflet explains the reasons for increased falls and how to prevent them. 

Fatigue Management

Fatigue is a very common symptom in people with a life-limiting illness. This leaflet explains simple fatigue management techniques for you to try at home. 

Preventing Damage to Your Skin

Skin can be damaged because of moisture and/or pressure. This leaflet gives you or your carer tips on how to care for your skin on your pressure areas (ears,  sacrum, elbows, heels etc) while you are less mobile.
